According to Fightful Select, Rollins was originally scheduled to defeat LA Knight. However, after sustaining what appeared to be a legitimate injury mid-match, plans were quickly adjusted. One major casualty of the timing issues was the main event segment featuring WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg. He began cutting a post-match promo, but NBC’s live broadcast abruptly ended mid-speech due to a hard network cutoff, leaving viewers without the full segment.

Sources noted that the early cut was unplanned and led to backstage frustration. One senior WWE official reportedly issued a personal apology to Goldberg following the show.
